Proof of Address is one of the documents required as part of identity verification and DAC8 tax compliance at One Trading.
What is Proof of Address?
Proof of Address (PoA) is a document used to confirm your current residential address. As a regulated Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) operating within the European Union, One Trading is legally required to collect and verify this information as part of account verification and ongoing compliance.
When is Proof of Address required?
You may be asked to submit Proof of Address:
During account verification
When updating your residential address
As part of a periodic compliance review
Documents are submitted directly during the account verification flow.
Accepted documents
We accept the following as valid Proof of Address, provided the document is dated within the last 3 months and clearly shows your full name and residential address:
- A utility bill (electricity, gas, water, or landline)
- A bank or credit card statement
- A government-issued tax document
- An official residence registration certificate
We're unable to accept mobile phone bills, insurance documents, or handwritten documents as Proof of Address.
Document requirements
To be accepted, your document must:
- Be issued in your name
- Clearly display your full residential address
- Be dated within the last 3 months
- Be complete and fully readable (no cropped or missing pages)
Bank and credit card statements can be:
- A screenshot or a PDF downloaded directly from your bank's website or mobile app
- An official statement issued by your bank
