You can use a Blockchain Explorer to check for yourself if a transaction was completed successfully. When the transaction is listed and confirmed by the network, then it was successful. If the transaction was confirmed at least once, then it is successful and irreversible.
There are two ways to find a transaction:
- Using the transaction hash: This hash serves as the identifier for a specific transaction. You can locate it in accounts/transactions. Simply search for the transaction, click on it, and copy the "Transaction" code. Then, paste it into a blockchain explorer to view its status.
- Searching by wallet address: Another method is to search for a specific wallet address in a Blockchain Explorer, such as your One Trading deposit address. Here, you'll see all transactions associated with this address. You can find your wallet address in the deposit section of One Trading. Copy this address and paste it into a blockchain explorer to view its status.
Statuses in the Blockchain Explorer:
- Pending - This means the transaction has not been confirmed by email yet.
- Pending (Processing) - This means the transaction is being processed on the appropriate network and confirmation should be received shortly. It is no longer possible to cancel the transaction at this point.
- Unconfirmed Transaction - Once the transaction is visible in the Blockchain Explorer as “Unconfirmed Transaction”, this means that the transaction has been successful but still needs some time to be finalised.
- Canceled - This status shows up if you have actively canceled your transaction through your account or your confirmation email. Additionally, your transaction may have been canceled for the following reasons: The cryptocurrency is currently in maintenance, the transaction is out of gas, some nodes on the blockchain are temporarily overstrained, and coin-specific providers are temporarily not working.
- Confirmed - Transaction was successful.
If you have made a transaction but it is not appearing in the blockchain explorer or the status remains unconfirmed after some time, please contact the service provider from where you attempted to send the assets, as the transaction may not have been successful.
If the transaction status shows as confirmed and you are certain that you sent it to the correct wallet address on the correct blockchain, but it still does not reflect in your One Trading account, please click the "Contact us" button at the end of this article. Select "Assistance with Crypto and Fiat transactions” from the dropdown menu in the contact form. Provide accurate information and any relevant transaction details when contacting support to expedite the resolution process.
