What is Proof of Address?
Proof of Address (PoA) is a document used to confirm your current residential address. As a regulated Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) operating within the European Union, One Trading is legally required to collect and verify this information as part of account verification and ongoing compliance.
When is Proof of Address required?
You may be asked to submit Proof of Address:
During account verification
When updating your residential address
As part of a periodic compliance review
Documents are submitted directly during the account verification flow.
Accepted documents
- Utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas, water, internet, or landline phone)
- Bank account statement
Document requirements
To be accepted, your document must:
Be issued in your name
Clearly display your full residential address
Be dated within the last 3 months
Be complete and fully readable (no cropped or missing pages)
Bank statements can be:
A screenshot or a PDF downloaded directly from your bank’s website or mobile app
An official statement issued by your bank
