At One Trading, we offer up to 10x leverage for all clients trading futures — whether you are a Retail, Professional, or Institutional client.
Leverage and Client Classification
Retail Clients
Retail clients benefit from additional safeguards, including access to the Dutch Investor Compensation Scheme, which provides an additional layer of protection for client assets; however it does not cover trading losses. Retail accounts are designed to meet MiFID II standards, ensuring fair and secure access to leveraged trading.
Professional and Institutional Clients
Professional and Institutional clients can also trade with up to 10x leverage. Their classification reflects experience and understanding of complex trading products, allowing access to advanced trading strategies within a responsible framework.
Appropriateness Assessment
Before trading dated futures, every client must complete an appropriateness test. This test evaluates your knowledge, experience, and understanding of leveraged trading and its risks.
Based on your responses:
The system confirms your client classification.
It ensures that you access products and leverage levels appropriate for your experience and risk profile.
This process is part of our regulatory obligations under MiFID II, helping all clients trade responsibly and within suitable risk parameters.
Why this matters
Dated futures are complex instruments that amplify both potential gains and losses. By offering up to 10x leverage alongside careful client classification and assessment, One Trading balances flexibility, compliance, and client protection.
Our approach ensures that:
All clients have access to up to 10x leverage.
Traders of all experience levels can engage with leveraged trading in a responsible and supported manner.
At One Trading, we are committed to providing transparent, responsible, and compliant access to leveraged trading opportunities.
Investing involves risks. The value of investments can go up as well as down and you may receive back less than your original investment or lose your entire investment. Investing with leverage means the value of your investment fluctuates more than the price of the underlying asset. One Trading does not provide investment advice and investors should make their own decisions or seek independent advice.
