To help protect our users and ensure responsible trading, One Trading requires all interested retail clients to pass an appropriateness test before gaining access to perpetual futures.
How many times can I try?
You have up to 3 attempts to pass the test.
Each attempt gives you the chance to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of trading derivatives, leverage, and associated risks.
What if I don’t pass?
If you fail all 3 attempts, you’ll need to wait 2 months before you can try again.
This 2-month period is designed to:
- Encourage more time to learn and prepare
- Promote informed, confident, and responsible trading decisions
Can I get a reminder?
Yes! You can opt in to receive an email notification once your 2-month waiting period ends, so you know exactly when you’re eligible to retake the test.
Investing involves risks. The value of investments can go up as well as down and you may receive back less than your original investment or lose your entire investment. Investing with leverage means the value of your investment fluctuates more than the price of the underlying asset. One Trading does not provide investment advice and investors should make their own decisions or seek independent advice.
